The station returns this coming Tuesday, March 28, for a six hour broadcast beginning at 6 PM EDT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/wjcu.org\">WJCU 88.7 FM<\/a> will host 100 alumni and former on-air personalities for the special &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wjcu.org\/2023\/02\/01\/wjcu-to-turn-back-the-clock-return-to-wujc-clock-tower-studios-march-28\">Turn Back the Clock<\/a>&#8221; event. Also joining will be University Heights mayor Dylan Brennan. The sound will recall eras past with retro imaging and throwback music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program will begin with an hour of 1960s music, with the decade advancing each hour. Hosts include WJCU DJs Zachary &#8216;DJ Z13&#8217; Sinutko, Emily Davala, Collin Kennedy, and Daunte Horton of &#8220;808s &amp; Mixtape&#8221;s alongside Joe and Lauren Gumney of &#8220;Old Rock vs New Rock.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 1989 as WABU-FM with a 10-watt class D signal on 88.9 FM, the station became WUJC later the year, moving to 88.7 FM where it now broadcasts with 2.5 kilowatts of power.
