I praised it for being very nice sounding \u2013 especially for being so small \u2013 having decent reception, and for being able to record airchecks to a microSD card.<\/p>\n<p>After using the radio during some travels I decided to record a follow-up review based on its performance. While it&#8217;s been a good travel companion for listening to strong local stations, I wasn&#8217;t able to tune in some of the smaller, funkier little local stations that I hoped to record air checks of. Earlier I had heard some of these stations with an analog receiver, the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2IPBmgI\">Kaito WRX-911<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That isn&#8217;t a deal killer; I still use this radio nearly every day. But I thought it was worth a follow-up. I&#8217;ve also purchased another little radio with similar features, the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2LAhMa3\">Kaito KA29<\/a>, which I will test out on my next trip to see if it performs any better.
