I was lucky to be able to visit quite a few college radio stations<\/a> in 2014 and have shared some of those field trips on Radio Survivor<\/a> and Spinning Indie<\/a>. Next week I’ll write up a comprehensive “2014 year in review<\/a>” post about the state of college radio, but as I reflect back on the year, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite moments from my radio station tours. <\/p>\n

I also hereby vow to continue visiting radio stations and hope to do my best to post my field trips in a more timely manner (I still have a back log of trips from October to write up!) in 2015. With that, here are some of the more unusual items that I spotted while touring college radio stations in 2014:<\/p>\n
